The ultimate social dance contest! Enter without a partner, couples are randomly paired, we pick the music. There will be multiple rounds of competition for each division.
WSDC levels that receive points: Newcomer, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Allstar & Champions
Age Divisions: Masters(50+)
All - American: Everyone should enter this just for fun contest.
"SCARY" Strictly
If you have All Star or Champion points, you can enter. It can be Choreographed or be a free style. (recommended - choreographed)
Sign ups for this competition opens on Oct 1st, 2025 12pm PDT & we are limiting it to 12 couples. The first 12 couples that sign up get to dance in this high prize money comp.

During Halloween SwingThing, there was an occurrence that we wanted to let the public know about. Two judges unexpectedly needed to be replaced during the Champion Jack & Jill contest due to unanticipated personal issues. The Chief Judge made the on-site decision to replace these two judges with two experienced champions judges who were not competing in the Champions Jack & Jill. Unfortunately, this decision was not in alignment with WSDC rules about conflicts of interest between judges and competitors.
We are cooperating with the WSDC Board and the Chief Judges Committee to reflect on what happened and put in place a mutually agreed upon Action plan with our full commitment to preventing any similar issue in the future.
We want to assure you that we believe in our judges' professionalism. We appreciate their stepping forward as asked at the last minute. We do not believe our decision compromised the integrity of this specific contest, but we also acknowledge that this situation did not go as planned or desired. It won't happen again.
